The 1989–90 season was Paris Saint-Germain's 20th season in existence.[1][2] PSG played their home league games at the Parc des Princes in Paris, registering an average attendance of 17,397 spectators per match.[1][2][3] The club was presided by Francis Borelli and the team was coached by Tomislav Ivić.[1][2] Safet Sušić was the team captain.[4]
