The 2020–21 Liga IV Argeș (known as Liga Fortuna Sports for sponsorship reasons) was the 53rd season of the Liga IV Argeș, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. Originally scheduled to start in August 2020, the season was postponed due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.[1]

On 7 April 2021, the Romanian Football Federation decided to allow the County Football Associations to organize a short tournament and until 8 May, they must communicate the teams qualified for the promotion play-off to Liga III.[2]

The tournament organized by AJF Argeș started on 17 April and was ended on 8 May 2021.[3] win the title and qualify to promotion play-off in Liga III.

Teams and competition format[]

10 clubs responded positively, that they can participate in the tournament and observe the new medical protocol. The teams are divided into two series based on geographical criteria and will play in a single round robin tournament, after which, in semi-finals, on neutral grounds, the 1st place in series A will play with the 2nd place in series B, and the 2nd place in series A with the 1st place in series B. The final will be played over two legs – home and away. The winner will be declared champion of Argeș County and will represent the county in the promotion play-off in Liga 3.[4]
