Chvalkovice is a village and municipality (obec) in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 6.94 square kilometres (2.68 sq mi), and has a population of 282 (as at 30 May 2008).

Chvalkovice lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south-east of Vyškov, 36 km (22 mi) east of Brno, and 218 km (135 mi) south-east of Prague.

Andreas Nemetz (1799–1846), a bandmaster and composer in Vienna, was born here.
