Vážany nad Litavou (formerly Linhartské Vážany) is a village and municipality (obec) in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 7.02 square kilometres (2.71 sq mi), and has a population of 644 (as at 3 July 2006).

Vážany nad Litavou lies approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) south-west of Vyškov, 20 km (12 mi) south-east of Brno, and 206 km (128 mi) south-east of Prague.
