Daniel Pruce is a British diplomat, most recently serving as the British Ambassador to the Philippines and non-resident from 2017 until 2021.[1] Previously to this, he was Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Madrid from 2012 to 2016 and the British Embassy in Bangkok from 2008 to 2012. Since joining the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, he has also worked in 10 Downing Street and at the NATO Headquarters during the Kosovo War.[2][3]

Among his activities during his time as Ambassador to the Philippines were overseeing the refurbishment of the Ambassador's residence in Makati and encouraging stronger bilateral ties between the United Kingdom and the Philippines, especially through joint efforts to stop online sexual exploitation and the illegal wildlife trade.[4][5]

In August 2021, he was succeeded by Laure Beaufils.[6]
