Dixalea is a rural locality in the Shire of Banana, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census Dixalea had a population of 92 people.[1]

History[]

Dixie State School opened on 30 October 1923. In 1924 it was renamed Dixalea State School. It closed in 1938.[3]

In the 2016 census Dixalea had a population of 92 people.[1]

Geography[]

The Dee River forms most of the western boundary.[4]

Road infrastructure[]

The Burnett Highway runs through from north to south.
