"Gravity" is a song performed by Cypriot singer Hovig. The song was written by Thomas G:son. It represented Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.[1] The song's music video was publicly released on 1 March 2017, while it was released as a digital download 2 March 2017.[2]

Eurovision Song Contest[]

On 21 October 2016, Hovig was announced as the Cypriot representative to the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.[1] It was then confirmed that Thomas G:son, the writer of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 winning song, "Euphoria", would be writing Hovig's entry. Throughout January and February 2017, Hovig released hints of the song's title and lyrics through his Facebook page.[3][4][5] The song's music video was later released on 1 March 2017, and it was released as a digital download the following day.[2] Cyprus competed in the second half of the first semi-final at the Eurovision Song Contest.[6][7]
