In medicine hyperspermia is a condition where a male has an abnormally large amount of semen or ejaculate volume[1] and is generally defined when the ejaculate is above 5.5 ml.[2] It is the opposite of hypospermia.
It is believed[who?] that males with hyperspermia have a higher sex drive than males without the condition.[citation needed] Testing has pointed to it stemming from a disorder of the prostate, however more studies are needed.[citation needed]
