Industrialnyi District (Ukrainian: Індустріальний район) is urban district of the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine, named after its industrial hub built in 1930s at its city's eastern outskirts.
The district was created in 1936 as Ordzhonikidzevskyi (named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze)[1] and was based on a newly built Kharkiv Tractor Plant (KhTZ). It was renamed to its current name in February 2016 to comply with decommunization laws.[1]
