Janet Yang Rohr is a Democratic member of the Illinois House from the 41st district since January 13, 2021. The 41st district, located in the Chicago area, includes parts of Bolingbrook, Naperville, and Warrenville.[1]

Rohr was elected to the 41st district after defeating incumbent Republican Grant Wehrli.

Early life, education, and career[]

Rohr is a life-long resident of Naperville, Illinois. In her primary education, she attended Ranch View Elementary School, Kennedy Junior High School, and Naperville North High School.[2] In her college education, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and economics at Northwestern University; at University of Chicago Booth School of Business she earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship.[2] She was a school board member of Naperville Community Unit School District 203.[3] She currently works as Director of Global Data for Morningstar, Inc.[2]

She lives in Naperville, Illinois. She is married to her husband and has three children.
