Michael J. Zalewski has been a member of the Illinois House of Representatives since December 2008, representing the 23rd district since January 9, 2013. The 23rd district, located in the Chicagoland area, includes parts of Bedford Park, Berwyn, Bridgeview, Brookfield, Burbank, Cicero, Countryside, Hickory Hills, Hodgkins, Justice, La Grange, La Grange Park, McCook, Riverside, and Summit.[1] He formerly represented the 21st district from December 2008 to January 9, 2013.
His father is Michael R. Zalewski, a former Chicago city alderman.[2]
