The Japan national futsal team (Japanese : フットサル日本代表 , Hepburn : Futtosaru Nippon Daihyō ) represents Japan in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Japan Football Association . It is one of the strongest teams in Asia , the champions in the 2006 , 2012 and 2014 Asian Futsal Championships .[3] Japan has also played in five FIFA Futsal World Cups .[4]
