Kařez is a municipality and village in the Rokycany District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants.

Kařez lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) north-east of Rokycany, 31 km (19 mi) east of Plzeň, and 55 km (34 mi) south-west of Prague.
