Kowiai (Kuiwai) is an Austronesian language of the Bomberai Peninsula in New Guinea. According to the Atlas of Languages of Intercultural Communication in the Pacific and Asia, Kowiai is spoken in the costal regions between Arguni and Etna bay.[3]
