The Ambassador resides in Lisbon.[1] The ambassador also holds non-resident accreditation for Cabo Verde (since 2009), São Tomé and Príncipe (since 2009) and Guinea-Bissau (since March 2011).[2][3] The current ambassador is Claire Rochecouste, appointed on 28 June 2019, who presented her credentials to Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa on 19 July 2019.[4]
