The following is a list of awards and nominations received by British actress and screenwriter Emma Thompson.

Throughout her career, she has won two Academy Awards, three BAFTA Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and one Primetime Emmy Award. She received five Academy Award nominations winning for Best Actress for James Ivory's period drama Howards End (1992) and the Best Adapted Screenplay for Sense and Sensibility (1995). She also received six British Academy Film Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Howards End (1992), and Sense and Sensibility (1995). She received ten Golden Globe Awards nominations winning twice for the same titles. For her work on television she received six Primetime Emmy Awards winning for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her appearance for Ellen in 1998.
