List of cities by number of billionaires

There are a number of different lists compiled by various publications around the world that attempt to determine the number of billionaires by world's major cities. Most well-known publications are by Forbes and Hurun Report.

In 2021, Forbes listed Beijing with the most billionaires at 100 people, followed by New York City with 99 billionaires, and Hong Kong in third place with 80 billionaires.[1][2]

In 2021, Hurun Report listed Beijing with the most billionaires at 145 people, followed by Shanghai with 113 billionaires, and New York City in third place with 112 billionaires.[3]
