Martina Schröter (born 16 November 1960) is a German rower, who competed for the / Sportvereinigung (SV) Dynamo. She won the medals at the international rowing competitions.[1][2] In October 1986, she was awarded a Patriotic Order of Merit in gold (first class) for her sporting success.[3] The Olympic gold medal that she won in 1988 in the double sculls teamed up with Birgit Peter was the 500th Olympic medal won by East Germany.[4]
