Skalná (Czech pronunciation: [ˈskalnaː]; until 1950 Vildštejn German: Wildstein) is a town in Cheb District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,000 inhabitants.

Villages of Kateřina, Starý Rybník, Vonšov and Zelená are administrative parts of Skalná.
Geography[]
Skalná lies in proximity of German border. Most of the area lies in the Cheb basin, in the nord the first hills of Fichtel Mountains are located. The highest peak of the municipal territory is Lužský vrch (606 m (1,988 ft) above sea level)
