South Hulu Sungai Regency is one of the nine regencies (kabupaten) in South Kalimantan province, Indonesia. It had an area of 1,804.94 km2, and a population at the 2010 Census of 212,485;[2] the latest official estimate (for mid 2018) is 235,217.[3] The capital is Kandangan, which famous for its culinary .[4]

Administrative districts[]

South Hulu Sungai Regency is divided into eleven districts (kecamatan), tabulated below with their areas and their 2010 Census populations,[5] together with the latest (as at mid 2018) official estimates.[6] The table includes the number of administrative villages (rural desa and urban kelurahan) in each district, and its post code.
