Texas's 37th congressional district will be a new district created as a result of the 2020 census. The first candidates will run in the 2022 House elections for a seat in the 118th United States Congress.[2]
In October 2021, Congressman Lloyd Doggett of Texas's 35th congressional district announced he would run for reelection in Texas's 37th congressional district.[3]
