In Vietnam there are neither organizations of Ukrainian community, nor religious communities of immigrants from Ukraine, partly due to its large distance and lack of interests.

A vast majority of citizens from Ukraine living in Vietnam are the labor migrants. They mainly consider their stay in Vietnam as a temporary and plan to return home after a labor contract with the company-employer finishes. There are also few Ukrainians who belong to the mixed Ukrainian-Vietnamese families.

The places of compact residence of the citizens of Ukraine in Vietnam are cities of Hanoi (about 50 people), Nha Trang (about 100), Vung Tau (about 100), and Ho Chi Minh (50). Likewise, Ukrainian community tends to be mixed with Russian community in Vietnam however.
