Velešín (Czech pronunciation: [ˈvɛlɛʃiːn]) is a town in Český Krumlov District the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,900 inhabitants.

History[]

The first written mention of Velešín is from 1266. It was probably founded in the 13th century.[2]
