Washington Township is one of twelve townships in Delaware County, Indiana. According to the 2010 census, its population was 2,027 and it contained 921 housing units.[3]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.49 square miles (91.9 km2), of which 35.34 square miles (91.5 km2) (or 99.58%) is land and 0.15 square miles (0.39 km2) (or 0.42%) is water.[3] Jackson Lake is in this township.
