Životice is a village and municipality (obec) in Plzeň-South District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 4.3 square kilometres (1.7 sq mi), and has a population of 54 (as at 28 August 2006).

Životice lies approximately 39 kilometres (24 mi) south-east of Plzeň and 87 km (54 mi) south-west of Prague.^[1]
