The 1975 World Figure Skating Championships were held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA from March 4 to 8. At the event, sanctioned by the International Skating Union, medals were awarded in men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.

The ISU Representative was Jacques Favart of France and the ISU Technical Delegate was of West Germany.

Men's compulsory figures were performed on March 4 at 8 am and ladies' figures took place the next day.[1] The number of figures executed by each skater had been reduced from six to three.[1]
