Two-time defending champion Shingo Kunieda successfully defended his title, defeating Stéphane Houdet in the final, 6–2, 6–2, to win the wheelchair men's singles tennis title at the 2015 Australian Open. It was Kunieda's eighth Australian Open title and his 18th Grand Slam singles title overall.[1]
Houdet was bidding to win his first Australian Open title at his fourth final, having lost to Kunieda on all three previous occasions.[2]
