American college football season
The 2016 Furman Paladins football team represented Furman University in the 2016 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by sixth -year head coach Bruce Fowler and played their home games at Paladin Stadium. They were a member of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 3–8, 3–5 in SoCon play to finish in sixth place.
On December 2, Fowler resigned. He finished at Furman with a six-year record of 27–43.
