The 2024 IIHF World Championship will be hosted by the Czech Republic.[1] This decision was made at the semi-annual IIHF congress, which is now held in Malta. Officially, this was announced on September 12, 2020 by the International Ice Hockey Federation due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
