The 8th Critics' Choice Television Awards ceremony, presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), honored the best in primetime television programming from 2017, and was held on January 11, 2018, at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Santa Monica, California.[1][2] It was broadcast on The CW and hosted by Olivia Munn.[3]
The nominations were announced on December 6, 2017. Netflix led with 20 nominations, followed by HBO with 15.[4][5]
