Berkadzor (Armenian: Բերքաձոր) is a village de facto in the Askeran Province of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh, de jure in the Khojaly District of Azerbaijan. The village has an ethnic Armenian-majority population, and was founded in 1998.
Toponymy[]
The village is also known as Armenabad.
History[]
During the Soviet period, the area around the village was a part of the Askeran District of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast.
Demographics[]
The village had 165 inhabitants in 2005,[2] and 195 inhabitants in 2015.[1]
