Karmirgyugh (Armenian: Կարմիրգյուղ) or Gyzyloba (Azerbaijani: Qızıloba) is a village that is, de facto, in the Askeran Province of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh; de jure, it is in the Khojaly District of Azerbaijan.

History[]

During the Soviet period, the village was part of the Askeran District of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast.

Demographics[]

The village has an ethnic Armenian-majority population. It had 174 inhabitants in 2005,[2] and 171 inhabitants in 2015.[1]
