Cvikov (German: Zwickau in Böhmen) is a town in Česká Lípa District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 4,500 inhabitants.
Administrative parts[]
Cvikov is made up of town parts of Cvikov I and Cvikov II, and of villages of Drnovec, Lindava, Naděje, Svitava, Trávník and Záhořín.
History[]
The first written mention of Cvikov is from 1352. The settlement was founded in the 13th century. In 1391, it was promoted to a town.[2]
