Location

Downtown Inglewood is an under-construction at-grade light rail station in the Los Angeles County Metro Rail system. The station incorporates artwork by the artist Kenturah Davis.[1] The planned Inglewood Transit Connector is expected to terminate nearby.

Location[]

It is located near the intersection of Florence Avenue and La Brea Avenue in Downtown Inglewood. The station will be served by the K Line.[2] It is slated to open in 2022.

People mover[]

The Inglewood Transit Connector is a 1.6-mile (2.6 km) elevated people mover planned to be built by the City of Inglewood. A new elevated station will be constructed nearby and will act as the northern terminus of the line, which travels to SoFi Stadium before its southern terminus at Intuit Dome on S. Prairie Avenue and Century Boulevard.[2][3]

During the 2028 Summer Olympics, the station will provide connections for spectators traveling to and from Olympic venues located in Inglewood.[4]

Landmarks[]

The station lies more than one mile away north west of the following:
