Gobela is a station of line 1 of Metro Bilbao. It is located in the neighbourhood of Itzubaltzeta-Romo, in the municipality of Getxo. The station opened on 24 June, 1996.[1] It is located immediately to the west of Campo Municipal de Gobela, home of the football team Arenas Club de Getxo.

Station layout[]

It is an elevated, open-air station with one island platform. The hall is located at street level with a single entrance from Negubide street.

Metro services[]

The station is served by Line 1 to Etxebarri, Ibarbengoa and Plentzia. There are trains to Etxebarri and Ibarbengoa every five to ten minutes, and services to Plentzia every twenty minutes.[2]
