Sopela is a station in line 1 of Metro Bilbao located in the municipality of the same name. The station opened on 11 November, 1995.[2] The station was originally named Sopelana after the municipality, which changed its name to Sopela in 2014,[3] the station's name also being changed shortly thereafter.

It is an overground station with two side platforms, an underground tunnel joins both.
