Kaghnut (Armenian: Կաղնուտ) is a village in the Kapan Municipality of the Syunik Province in Armenia.

Toponymy[]

The village was previously known as Mogez, Moges, Moqez and Moghes.

The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population as 105 in 2011,[3] down from 109 in 2010,[4] down from 117 at the 2001 census.[5]
