• Kateryna Yushchenko, inventor of Pointers and the author of one of the world's first high-level programming languages - Address programming language (1955) with indirect addressing and addresses of the highest rank (Pointers are analogous to indirect addressing), founder of the Soviet school of theoretical programming. "Stoke-operation" (Dereference operator of Pointers) was implemented in at her suggestion and under her guidance.
