Professional career[]

2020: Grand Slam debut and maiden win, Top-100 debut, First top-10 win[]

Giron reached the second rounds of a Grand Slam at the 2020 US Open where he won his first Grand Slam main draw match against Marc Polmans in five sets and at the 2020 French Open for the first time in his career.

In November 2020, Giron recorded his first top-ten win against Matteo Berrettini at the Paris Masters.[3]
