Mewatha Beach is a summer village in Alberta, Canada. It is located on the western shore of Skeleton Lake, east of Boyle.

Demographics[]

In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the Summer Village of Mewatha Beach recorded a population of 90 living in 48 of its 177 total private dwellings, a 13.9% change from its 2011 population of 79. With a land area of 0.8 km2 (0.31 sq mi), it had a population density of 112.5/km2 (291.4/sq mi) in 2016.[2]

In the 2011 Census, the Summer Village of Mewatha Beach had a population of 79 living in 37 of its 191 total dwellings, a −52.7% change from its 2006 population of 167. With a land area of 0.78 km2 (0.30 sq mi), it had a population density of 101.3/km2 (262.3/sq mi) in 2011.[3]
