The New South Wales Minister for Energy is a minister in the New South Wales Government with responsibilities for matters relating to resources, energy, and utilities.[1] The current minister, since 2 April 2019, is the Hon. Matt Kean MP.[2] The minister manages the portfolio through the Planning and Environment cluster.[3]
A separate minister, the Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology, is a minister with responsibilities for innovation and technology. The current minister is the Hon. Alister Henskens MP, since 21 December 2021.[4] The minister manages the portfolio through the Enterprise, Investment and Trade cluster.[3]
Ultimately the ministers are responsible to the Parliament of New South Wales.
