About this soundPísečná  (Polish: About this soundPioseczna is a municipality and village in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,100 inhabitants. Polish minority makes up 18.6% of the population.[2] It lies in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia on the foothills of the Silesian Beskids mountain range.

History[]

The first written mention is from 1446. Until 2000 it was administratively part of Jablunkov.[3]
