Sardigliano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Turin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 438 and an area of 12.6 square kilometres (4.9 sq mi).[3]
The municipality of Sardigliano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Malvino, Cuquello, Bavantore, Bavantorino, and Sant'Antonio.
Sardigliano borders the following municipalities: Borghetto di Borbera, Cassano Spinola, Castellania Coppi, Garbagna, Gavazzana, Sant'Agata Fossili, and Stazzano.
