Symphyotrichum molle (formerly Aster mollis) is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae endemic to the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming in the United States. Commonly known as soft aster, it is a perennial, herbaceous plant that may reach 30 to 60 centimeters (12 to 24 inches) tall. Its flowers have violet ray florets and yellow disk florets.[3]
