The first season of The Bachelorette premiered on January 8, 2003, and concluded on February 19, 2003. This season featured Trista Rehn, a pediatric physical therapist and former Miami Heat dancer from St. Louis, Missouri, courting 25 men.
Rehn was the runner-up from the first season of The Bachelor featuring Alex Michel. The winner was 28-year-old firefighter Ryan Sutter and eventually became Rehn's husband. The couple married in December 6, 2003 in Santa Monica, California, and they are living in Vail, Colorado with their two children.[1]
