The Cowboys will attempt to improve on their 12–5 record from 2021, become the first team since the 2001–2004 Philadelphia Eagles to repeat as NFC East champions, and win a Super Bowl for the first time since 1995. This will be the first season since 2014 that offensive tackle La'el Collins will not be on the roster, as he was released on March 18, 2022, and later signed with the Cincinnati Bengals.[1][2]
