Pre-draft trades
- The Carolina Panthers traded their 2022 third-round selection as well tight end Dan Arnold to Jacksonville in exchange for cornerback C.J. Henderson and Jacksonville's 2022 fifth-round selection.[4]
- The Minnesota Vikings traded a conditional fifth-round selection and a 2021 second-round selection to Jacksonville in exchange for defensive end Yannick Ngakoue. The fifth-round pick would have become a 2022 fourth-round pick if Ngakoue went to the 2021 Pro Bowl. It would have become a 2022 third-round pick if he was a 2021 Pro Bowler and the Vikings won the Super Bowl at the end of the 2020 season. This did not happen, so the pick remained in the fifth round.[5] Fans of several other teams unsuccessfully attempted to vote Ngakoue into the Pro Bowl and cause the Vikings to give up the higher pick.[6]
- The Philadelphia Eagles traded a sixth-round selection to Jacksonville in exchange for quarterback Gardner Minshew. The sixth-round selection could have risen to the fifth round if Minshew was involved in 50% of the plays in three games this season.[7]
- The Pittsburgh Steelers traded a sixth-round selection to Jacksonville in exchange for linebacker Joe Schobert.[8]
- The Seattle Seahawks traded a sixth-round selection to Jacksonville in exchange for cornerback Sidney Jones.[9]
- The Baltimore Ravens traded a conditional seventh-round selection to Jacksonville in exchange for tight end Josh Oliver. The trade was conditional on Oliver making Baltimore's roster in 2021.[10]
