The 2022 season will be the Kansas City Chiefs' 53rd in the National Football League, their 63rd overall, their 10th under head coach Andy Reid, and their 6th under general manager Brett Veach. The Chiefs will look to improve on their 12-5 record from 2021, reach their 5th straight AFC Championship and their 3rd Super Bowl in four seasons. In the offseason, the Chiefs traded wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins. Hill had been with the Chiefs since 2016.[1]

- The Chiefs traded a fifth-round selection in the 2022 draft, a first-round selection in the 2021 draft, a third-round selection in the 2021 draft, and fourth-round selection in the 2021 draft to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for a seventh-round selection in the 2022 NFL draft, a 2021 second-round selection in the 2021 draft, and tackle Orlando Brown Jr.[2]
