2022 MLB at Field of Dreams (known as 2022 MLB at Field of Dreams presented by GEICO for sponsorship reasons) is an upcoming regular-season Major League Baseball (MLB) game to be played on August 11, 2022, near Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa, a site popularized by the 1989 baseball film Field of Dreams. The game will be contested between the Cincinnati Reds (designated as the home team) and the Chicago Cubs. The game will be the second MLB game played in the state of Iowa.[1]

Shortly before the 2021 game, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred confirmed that there will be another game at the Field of Dreams in 2022, likely during August, but did not reveal which teams would be playing.[2] MLB later announced that the Cincinnati Reds (the same team who would beat the White Sox in the controversial 1919 World Series) would play the Chicago Cubs at the site on August 11, 2022, with Cincinnati as the designated home team in the game.[3]
