Abasha (Georgian: აბაშის მუნიციპალიტეტი) is a district of Georgia, in the region of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti. Its main town is Abasha.

Politics[]
Abasha Municipal Assembly (Georgian:აბაშის საკრებულო]]) is a representative body in Abasha Municipality. currently consisting of 33 members. The council is assembles into session regularly, to consider subject matters such as code changes, utilities, taxes, Municipal budget, oversight of Municipal government and more. Abasha sakrebulo is elected every four year. The last election was held in October 2017.[1]
